Tell us a little about yourself.  Christian, father, husband, Information Technology professional with over 20 years of experience. I've worked for several fortune 500 companies, managed my own consulting business and I also serve on the Theology of Work Project Board of Directors.

What was your motivation behind this project?  I ruined my life through my obsessive pursuit of "success". I defined myself and my value through the money I made at work and I ended up losing all of it. I figured out I didn't know the first thing about work and very little about life. This book is about my journey into the kingdom of God and how it has transformed me and my work.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  I am heartened to hear from readers that they found their own story in the telling of mine. It gives them hope and challenges them to draw closer to Jesus as they do their job. It gives them the understanding they were missing about the gift and blessing of work and the tools they need to stay strong and grow in their faith on the job and in their life.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  The discovery that work is a fundamental structure of love in the kingdom of God and that God's purpose for work is to bring people together in loving community for mutual benefit and support have impacted me daily. The wonder of work as a way for me to love and glorify God and bless others fills me daily with joy. To see His mighty right arm at work with me is amazing and humbling.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  C.S. Lewis, Phillips Brooks, Frank Laubach, William Law, John Wooden, Francis De Sales, Lee Hardy and especially Dallas Willard

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  That God has you exactly where He needs you. Your work done faithfully and well, blesses others--answers countless prayers for food, clothing, shelter, health, justice, knowledge and joy-- and glorifies God. Work is one significant way that you love God and love your neighbor.
