Product Description

It's 1544, Menno Simons, a leader in the new---and persecuted---free church movement, is on the run from authorities in the Netherlands. Endorsements

"As in Pilgrim Aflame, Myron Augsburger has found a way to enliven Anabaptist history. From the few details we know about the life of Menno Simons, Augsburger has pieced together a thought-provoking narrative, as much a history of ideas about Menno's thought as about the action of his life. This book will make a valuable contribution in popularizing Anabapitst history." -Beth E. Graybill, Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society
