The Exemplary Husband, Revised

The Exemplary Husband is a biblical blueprint for the mandate God has given to husbands in the covenant of marriage to love their wives, even as Christ loved the church. Written to be a companion book to The Excellent Wife by Martha Peace, its goal is to assist husbands toward purposeful and lasting Christlikeness for the glory of God. It is suitable for men's small group Bible studies, or for couples prayerfully seeking God's very best in marriage.

Excellent book. It would be hard to find another study that does such a great job of combining both heart piercing scripture and study with application. This book does!! It is great to study together with "The Excellent Wife". These books were written to be studied together and will have a tremendous impact on any Bible study or small group.

Get this book!! This is a great Biblically based book on how to be the husband God wants you to be with no pop psychology or humanistic philosophy. I am presently leading a Bible study on how to be a Godly husband and father and this is the book we are using with our Bibles; it is very good. Mr. Scott does a tremendous job of using God's word to show men how to, first and foremost, get our relationship right with God so that we may be able to get right with our wives. It teaches how to be a spiritual leader and puts it all in the men's court without worrying about the woman's role. This book is not for the wimpy or the whiny; if you want to be encouraged, challenged, rebuked, and pointed to God and His Word to be the exemplary husband God wants us to be as He molds us into the image of Christ; then buy this book! It truly needs to be promoted more than many of the other books out there on this subject. It has really helped my walk with God and blessed my ever growing marriage.

There is no better book in showing that a husband has responsibilities that go far beyond how we feel or how our wife may be. This book challenges us in every area of life.

This is the best book for husbands (and singles) on the market! With stellar clarity and Biblical insight, Dr. Scott assists husbands toward purposeful and lasting Christlikeness for the Glory of God. There is no psychobabble in this book. It's thoroughly biblical. I highly recommend it.
