Stacey5 Stars Out Of 5AwesomeFebruary 7, 2015StaceyQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5We love this series of books. They have been a blessing. They are convicting for your walk with Christ and areas that our kids, as well as adults can tend to get caught up in during our journey. They are exciting books and leave us on the edge of our seat each time we finish a chapter. We read it to our children in the evening as family time. Our children are 5-10 and they all love it....even we do.
Momma x55 Stars Out Of 5Captivating page turners with a message!!January 25, 2014Momma x5Quality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5My eleven year old son LOVES these books!!
I ordered the first one to see if he would be
interested and I quickly regretted not purchasing
the set of seven at a discount.
They are wonderful. Once he started, he couldn't
put them down.
The author seems to pull inspiration from
the classic, Pilgrims Progress, as well as CS Lewis
parody style writing.
The story follows a young boy who is saved from
slavery by a King- "King Emmanuel". He is then in
service to him as a knight and has many quests, battles
with the enemy, Argamore (satan) and learns much
along the way. Set in a mid-evil world, his Word is his Sword-
Touches on struggles that young people face today,
in a creative way.
My son even told me, " Mom, I think The Lord
brought me these books! "
Captivating writing with a great message!
Would recommend for boys or girls.
Misti Konsavage5 Stars Out Of 5January 16, 2008Misti KonsavageAbout a year and a half ago, my then 10 year old son, bought these books with his own money because they sounded like something he would like. (Knights and castles) He was raving about how wondererful they were and read the whole series in less than a week. My husband, wondering what all the "fuss" was about decided to read "The Sword, the Ring and the Parchment" too. He was so impressed and too, went on to read all 7 books, and recommended that I do too. I don't have tons of time to read, being a homeschool mom of 6 children, but I read every one of the books in the Terrestria Chronicles and was so blown away at not only how wonderfully written they were, but how incredibly they were able to explain our spiritual walk with God and encourage me in my own personal relationship with Him. Another great plus, or maybe THE best part, is that, having read them, we are able to use the books to refer to when explaining spiritual truths to our children. That has been so neat. I can say, "Remember Prince Josiah when he did......" and they can immediately relate and understand what I'm trying to show them. These books are worth their weight in gold. You will never regret this purchase!!! If your children love knights and castles, they will love these books. They are not just for boys though, either. My 7yo "girly" daughter begs me to read another chapter. It even keeps my 5yo's attention. Thank you Mr Dunlop for allowing God to work through you. These books, in my opinion, are much better than even Pilgrim's Progress! This book is a must-read because it very clearly shows the problem of hiding sin and the huge impact it has on our lives and relationship with the Lord.

Tell us a little about yourself. I have been involved in children's ministry full-time for the past 32 years. I love kids, I love reading, and I certainly love my King.
What was your motivation behind this project? To warn young people of the deceitfulness and tragic consequences of sin.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I hope it creates a desire to guard their hearts for the King.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? Writing this story reminded me that I have to guard my own heart.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? Favorite authors: Bernard Palmer, Frank Peretti
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: Sometimes we are the most vulnerable to temptation immediately after a great spiritual victory (as Josiah experienced in Book 4, The Crown of Kuros).
