Fifteen-year-old old Brad Johnson is struggling to figure out Gods will for his life. Its hard to stay focused on doing whats right amid the normal drama of high school. Add to the mix a group of students who are bent on making life miserable if you dare to talk about Jesus, and things get real. Brads close friend Luke has become cynical and distant, drawn into a culture of drugs and black-metal music as the drummer of a local band.

Things get even stranger when a video game Brad and his friends play, called The Draegonian Invasion, begins to come to life. Brad awakens to the truth that sinister forces are attacking his friends and invading his community. He discovers that the dangers are very real and that a supernatural enemy is trying to take over his high school. The kids are wearing only black and being sucked into a life of absolute rebellion. With his friends, Matt and Bart, along with a youth Bible study group known as the G-Men, Brad battles alien beings, giant androids, mystical beasts, thugs, and a dark villain involved in the magical arts. He discovers the computer games amazing effect on reality. Facing his own fear, Brad learns how only the awesome power of God can defeat the evil lurking in the shadows.

    Tell us a little about yourself.  I am the father of fifteen year old twins. My wife and I have a small business. I have a degree in education and political science from NCSU and have taught Sunday school and bible studies at my church for 15 years. I enjoy writing Christian literature.

    What was your motivation behind this project?  I was inspired to write this work because I was concerned about what my kids were reading. I started writing and I felt like God was leading the storyline.

    What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  I hope this work will inspire young people to see Jesus as the only real superhero. Only He can get us through the junk the enemy throws our way. The enemy has many clever tactics to confuse and distract us, neutralizing us as Christians. We need a faithful close walk with our Lord each day to overcome the onslaught of the of powers of darkness. With the help of our superhero, Jesus, we will win!

    How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  I really came to undestand the awsome creative power of God's Holy Spirit. It was nothing short of a miracle this novel was written.
