Realistically truthful... This movie did have dysfunctional-family issues and young-teens-in-love mistakes mentioned but I found it refreshing that at the end everything didn't miraculously work out brilliantly like you expect in this type of movie. I can't say anything more than that without giving it away -- but I actually found it refreshing. I would not consider it 'Christian' per se, though. And our 9 and 11 year olds did watch it with us. There's much worse happenings in the Old Testament. June 30, 2012

a family-UNfriendly movie My first impression: a very angry family. 2nd: stilted acting and much-needed editing, 3rd: 14 yrs ago one brother had stolen and (X-rated) the other's girlfriend, and married her. I did not enjoy stumbling upon this information (with my 10-yr old watching). I'd like to trust CBD to accurately review movies you offer. Please pull this one. The opening music is a hymn; the rest of the movie made me feel yucky, dirty and I will not finish watching it. (Beautiful horse and scenery did not make me like this movie) June 17, 2012

Dana had to overcome many battles in this movie Dana is a very strong willed individual faced with several problems here. She stuck to her guns and won them all.She almost created one tragedy because of her stubborness but all worked out for good. Very good family movie. April 11, 2012

disappointed I am an avid horse movie fan and a christian. So I thought this would be a pretty good movie. Lots of places in this movie for some mention of christian values, but there was nothing! The only thing the movie has going for it is some short scenes of a very pretty horse, and the fact that there is no swearing, violence, except for a fist fight between brothers. No sex involved, okay, some kissing between husband and wife, and between brother kissing his brothers girl/wife, never could figure out that relationship and the fist fight occurred BEFORE the kiss. Wish I could get my money back but it just ain't worth the hassle. March 16, 2012
