I am very pleased with this particular version of the Bible. I am however, quite disapointed in the binding (softcover) as it is not holding up well. The paper that it is printed on is very thin and easy to wrinkle. I do wish however that it had been printed from back to front in the manner of the larger Hebrew Bible. Maybe had I ordered the hardback version I wouldn't have enocuntered the binding problem. I do reccomend it as the names of Jesus, Christ, Holy Spirit and all the other Biblical names are quite interesting to me as they are written in Israeli Hebrew. The pronounciation of them is Sephardic and that suites me as I do speak a little Spanish and the accents are the same....

I was very pleased with this Bible. I am able to compare this one with a Christian Bible and it allows me to learn a lot. For serious students of the World of God this Complete Jewish Bible is a wonderful book.

This Bible is the ultimate must for those who want to find the real source of our belief. We are used to see and read the Bible through the Christian translators' eyes and understanding. But the Bible is through and through a Jewish book and what is then better than having it translated by a Messianic (Yehshua believing), very thorough and wise Jewish translator -
Even the introduction is full of new information that explains strange passages in the NT text. A believing Jew understands much more of the thinking and culture in which the Bible is written, therefor, when Stern explains former, diffucult quotations, they all become obvious!
I love this Bible, and feel I am "home" and everything is well when I read it.
Thank you so much for this wonderful translation!

Excellent Bible! Great for adults and young believers as well. We love the Hebrew woven into all the scriptures.
