Performed by series of luminaries including Kenneth Branagh, Lynn Redgrave and Derek Jacobi, each stands alone as a work of genius. Lewis's magical land of Narnia where enchanted creatures live and fierce battles are fought between good and evil. In The Chronicles of Narnia Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy travel repeatedly to an enchanted world in which they are far more than mere children ... the land beyond the wardrobe, where the woods are thick and cool, where animals talk, where boys go into battle, where magical things happen ... and where the adventure begins.

David Crumm and ReadTheSpirit.com

If you love C.S. Lewis' delightful tales of fanciful adventure -- or even if you've not yet set foot in Narnia -- I urge you to give yourself or someone you love a gift of this unabridged audio version of the novels.

A Who's Who of famous British actors and actresses lined up to read this classic, so simply hearing voices that you'll likely recognize from stage and screen is a pleasure.

But Lewis himself -- and millions of parents since his era -- regard these novels as opportunities to read aloud. That makes them perfect material for these masterful performers -- and lets us, even as adults, become children again as listen.

This set is unabridged, which will be greatly appreciated by all Lewis fans. Nothing worse than investing in an audio version of a best-loved book and finding your own favorite bits missing in the new rendition. Here, every magic wand, gleaming sword and swish of the Great Lion's tail is faithfully included.
