Product Description

In the inspiring sequel to The Christmas Shoes, Nathan Andrews (Neil Patrick Harris) is all grown up. As a young doctor, Nathan finds himself questioning his career choice, so he goes to his hometown to soul-search and reconnect with his father. NOT CHRISTIAN MATERIAL Bar scenes? Alcohol/drinking scenes? Profanity? Do we really need this kind of bad activity in a movie and sold by a christian bookstore? I can get this kind of crappy viewing material in a regular movie theatre. Unreal what becomes "wonderful" to some people who overlook morals and values today. One shouldn't have to act *blind* to things like that in a movie...this is worthy of the trash can. Don't waste your money...... December 31, 2012

Heart touching movie I didn't see The Christmas Shoes, yet I enjoyed this movie. It's themes include dealing with "premature death" (in youth and child), romance, career decision-making, integrity, and community service. That said, the title The Christmas Blessing is a bit over-the-top to my thinking because this plot could be set in any season of the year. Strictly speaking, this is not a Christian movie - it doesn't present the Gospel nor offer answers to address its themes. It's a feel-good movie for the most part, however, because its plot touches on life and death issues. Some viewers might be concerned that Neil Patrick Harris (aka Doogie Howser) is a major actor, particularly based on his libertine lifestyle, and hence that he is an inappropriate role model. I would recommend that the audience be at least 11 years old and up. January 10, 2012

This was a good film This film was nice in the way that it connected to the first move on the Christmas Shoes. I, however, found it to only be a typical Christmas film, but it did not meet my expectations as the first film did. January 13, 2011

Very disappointed. Before we were very far into the movie there were 3 cuss words. Story was progressing well and this is the sequel to "The Christmas Shoes" which was incredible! I will never understand why we need inappropriate language (that doesn't even fit in the sentence) to be put in a script & then to spew it out to a child in the movie is even more incredible. We stopped the movie & felt like we were cheated out of our money when we expected quality movies from a reputable business that sells Christian materials. I will do more research from now on and not be so trusting. December 28, 2010
