The second in the Dragons in Our Midst series by AMG Publishers under their new Living Ink division, The Candlestone is nearly 400 pages long. This contemporary fantasy novel is about two kids who find that they are the key to a prophecy that they must fulfill. However, their enemies, especially the evil Devin, are out to kill anyone who gets in the way of his wicked plans.

The Candlestone taught me a lot about trust, faith in God, and trust in each other. God is already there and at work even before I pray.

I totally enjoyed The Candlestone. As a 12-year-old voracious reader of adventure and mystery books, this series really hit the spot.
