I find this book to very eye opening about our calling. There is an audience of one that we should concerned about. And that "One" is God. He is the "Caller" and we are the "called." Os Guinness is an excellent man of God. I very much recommend this book. It is not a self help book, but a book that will make you realize that God is the one that we all need.

A great book and I learned a ton from his incredibly well versed literary and historical knowledge and examples used in his book. Does a great job giving a picture for each topic he describes before diving into it. Only knock is that I wish he had more scripture throughout the book, but the middle and towards the end are GOLD for a person's faith. Great practical mind towards our living for God and our using of our gifts.

One of the best books I have read in a long, long time. Outstanding! It deals with the subject of christian calling from a refreshing point of view. Profound but very undertsandable, it does not depend of worn out cliches and it is very real. Read it if you want to be face with the Biblical reality of God's calling for your life.
