The Call continues to stand as a classic, reflective work on life's purpose. Best-selling author Os Guinness goes beyond our surface understanding of God's call and addresses the fact that God has a specific calling for our individual lives.
Why am I here? What is God's call in my life? How do I fit God's call with my own individuality? How should God's calling affect my career, my plans for the future, my concepts of success? Guinness now helps the reader discover answers to these questions, and more, through a corresponding workbook - perfect for individual or group study.
According to Guinness, "No idea short of God's call can ground and fulfill the truest human desire for purpose and fulfillment." With tens of thousands of readers to date, The Call is for all who desire a purposeful, intentional life of faith.
Also availbale in audio format, narrated by Os Guinness.

There is an audience of one that we should concerned about. And that "One" is God. He is the "Caller" and we are the "called." Os Guinness is an excellent man of God. I very much recommend this book. It is not a self help book, but a book that will make you realize that God is the one that we all need.
Chris White5 Stars Out Of 5June 13, 2008Chris WhiteA great book and I learned a ton from his incredibly well versed literary and historical knowledge and examples used in his book. Does a great job giving a picture for each topic he describes before diving into it. Only knock is that I wish he had more scripture throughout the book, but the middle and towards the end are GOLD for a person's faith. Great practical mind towards our living for God and our using of our gifts.
David Medina5 Stars Out Of 5September 2, 2004David MedinaOne of the best books I have read in a long, long time. Outstanding! It deals with the subject of christian calling from a refreshing point of view. Profound but very undertsandable, it does not depend of worn out cliches and it is very real. Read it if you want to be face with the Biblical reality of God's calling for your life.
