It followed the story of Esther and was Biblically accurate, at times using the dialog from scripture. We had just finished the book of Esther in our ladies' study at church, and it added to our understanding of the characters and the time reference, such as to Ezra and Nehemiah and how they fit into the story. The actor portraying the king was just as is written in the Bible. Haman and Mordecai are beautifully portrayed. An outstanding movie that all should see!
