Perfect gift for my nursery school children This book told the Christmas story accurately and engagingly from the visit to Mary by the angel through the flight to Egypt and the return to Nazareth. There are Bible references given and there is a short reading about "when Jesus grew up". The size of the book is perfect for little hands, the pictures are colorful, and the price of the book is great. January 10, 2013

Perfect Introduction to the Advent Season My church sponsored a half-day workshop to prepare young children for the Advent Season. I ordered these little books for the children as we focused on the Nativity theme. We started the workshop with the actual story, enhanced by the wonderful drawings in the little booklets. The children sang songs, along with movements, to get energized for the rest of the activities, which included small groups going to various stations for specific advent-related crafts. We culminated the event by gathering as a whole group to share and review the story, songs, and events of the day. January 2, 2013
