Tell us a little about yourself.  I was born in southern Indiana in a small town called Madison. My wonderful parents came from eastern Kentucky near the West Virginia border, and they instilled in me a love for simplicity and God's creation. They also encouraged me to seek the Lord and go to church. I became a Christian at age nine and was baptized in a local creek. God blessed me with dynamic pastors who taught the word of God clearly and methodically. I cut my doctrinal teeth on the book of Revelation! Since the earliest days of my life, I've "seen" visions of the supernatural and dreamt prophetic dreams, and my writing reflects this. I write of darkness, because I have seen it up close. But I also write of the greatest of all lights – the Lord Jesus Christ, because His lamp unto my feet has brought me back to His path over and over again. Despite many false starts in life, God has blessed me with a loving husband and amazing stepdaughter. Derek shares my love of writing, and he and I get to talk shop every night!

What was your motivation behind this project?  Since childhood, God has shared with me small glimpses of the unseen supernatural world that surrounds us all. I've studied dark fiction and how it influences teens and adults negatively – the MythArc is meant as a means to reach those lured to the occult with the Truth. Satan wants to devour teens, and he has succeeded too many times to count. I want to reach that reader who loves a "good scare" with the scariest truth of all – Evil is Real. But so is God.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  "Winds of Evil" and "The Armageddon Strain" are both part of the MythArc series of books. The MythArc uses fiction to inform and empower Christians and non-Christians about the supernatural battle between God and Satan. We pray that each book will plant seeds of faith and change lives.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  As a teen I read science fiction and horror fiction in addition to conducting an in-depth study of the Bible. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, J. R. R. Tolkien, Richard Matheson, Stephen King, and Dean Koontz as well as Tom Clancy's political thrillers are my secular influences. Ultimately, the Bible is my favorite of all books and it forms the foundation for all my writing.

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  I'd love to hear from all of you! Please write to me at God loves you! Isn't that amazing?
