K.K.5 Stars Out Of 5Great resource for teaching our True Christian heritageOctober 3, 2014K.K.Quality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5We are asked to write these reviews so shortly after receiving the product. Because this set is about 11hrs. long, we haven't been able to view them all yet. However, what we've watched has been excellent. Mr. Barton is actually on the scene (we watched the Philadelphia DVD) as he shows us and explains about the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, etc. and gives the godly heritage that our forefathers laid down, hoping to pass on to us today. Well now we can teach our children what was never taught to us. We can use this tool to teach the truth about things like the origin of the phrase "separation of church and state" and what it was intended to do. We also learned the divine intervention of God through the making of our great nation...and how even the enemy gave credit to the Lord through amazing accounts. CBD had the best price on this product ...even better than our co-op deal. I was researching the other DVD series that stars David Barton, but most said it was interview style. This American Heritage DVD series has NOT been interview style for any of the ones we watched. I'm learning just as much as my children. So glad we found this gem.
Susan5 Stars Out Of 5Multi-topics all importantMarch 29, 2014SusanQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This set is exceptionally educational. We used the series in a multi-church prayer project. It was used to educate people and to inspire prayer for our nation. Everyone was impressed with the heritage that they either did not know or had forgotten.

The first DVD we watched of the set at first overwhelmed me with Dr. Barton's attention to detail. He definitely has done his homework/research. Continuing to watch through the DVDs, I have felt my heart reawakening to a desire to pray for our nation and be a more active participant in it. I only bought the set as a way to help educate our kids about America's unique heritage--it became an educational and inspirational experience for me as well. I would love to be able to make a set of these DVDs available to each of my friends and their families or even to churches throughout the land. My husband and I thought pastors and other ministers could make good use of the series to better educate their congregations or small groups on America's truly blessed heritage and inspire members to glorify God through the "trust" of their citizenship. This series delves deep into the intent and character of our nation's founding fathers. Sources are very well-documented. We are really impressed and highly recommend this series to families who take their faith in Christ seriously or who are seeking to be encouraged along those lines. It's worth the money.
Q: Can you tell me what the difference is between this series and the American Heritage Series 10 DVD Set series Does it cover the same material without the commercials? please can you list what both series cover completely
This DVD Set is David Barton in more of a lecture setting, whereas WW6009256 "American Heritage Series" is a question & answer session with Matthew and Laurie Crouch. It covers basically the same content as WW6009256, without the "commercials", but tends to go more in depth about specific personalities in each time period.
