ChristianBook eBooks on the Sony Reader
To read a Christianbook.com licensed eBook on your Sony device, you will need to use Adobe Digital Editions.
Without using ADE, the Sony Reader will attempt to open eBooks with its own software, the Reader Library, and you may receive an error message.
To bypass the Sony Reader Library, return to the eBook portion of 'My Account' on our site, and click to download the eBook again.
When the Adobe Digital Editions installer comes up, click on 'Download Item.'
If you are downloading a DRM Protected eBook, you will be prompted to open or save the URLLINK.acsm. Click 'Save'.
Save the file to your Desktop for quick access later.
Right-click on the URLLINK file, then select 'Open With' and choose Adobe Digital Editions.
If Adobe Digital Editions is not in the list, click 'Choose Default Program' and then select Adobe Digital Editions from the list.
Your eBook will open and display in ADE.
Plug in your Sony Reader, which will now display its model number and not just as Sony Reader.
Now just click, drag and drop your eBook onto the Sony Reader icon.
You can now eject your Sony Reader, open up the Books library and your eBook is ready to read.

Magic BusKalamazoo, MichiganAge: 55-65Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5I loved this book- from a non-fiction readerNovember 21, 2013Magic BusKalamazoo, MichiganAge: 55-65Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Having my adult children live in Chicago and my brother's family residing in Rolling Meadows, I purchased this book simply to read fiction based in this geographical area. I read this entire book in two sittings- I found it to be unpredictable and actually a thrill to read. I rarely read novels (maybe 2 a year), prefer biographies and non-fiction, but this book was a pleasant exception. Very well written with good characters placed in believable yet difficult situations. A+, will read any other novels Lee Strobel writes for sure.
branjamliljoAge: 35-44Gender: male3 Stars Out Of 5This book was okay.July 15, 2013branjamliljoAge: 35-44Gender: maleQuality: 4Value: 5Meets Expectations: 2The entire reporter angle of the story felt like a re-telling of Lee's journey to faith. Then to have the reporter as an integral part of the story for 95% of the book but not be involved with the books outcome didn't make much sense to me. If I hadn't known anything about Lee Strobel before reading this book I might have given it a higher rating.
Connie SheddAge: Over 65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5THIS IS DEFINITELY A THRILLERMay 21, 2012Connie SheddAge: Over 65Gender: femaleI loved this book. Couldn't put it down. Lee Strobel keeps you involved in the story from beginnng to end. Many different aspects involved. Pastors, politics, reporters, corruption. The story line was great and I loved how he pulled all his characters together. Hope to see more novels written by Strobel.
RadioladyToronto, OntarioAge: 45-54Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Lee Strobel's Got My Attention!December 3, 2011RadioladyToronto, OntarioAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Twists, turns and surprises that make The Ambition a serious page turner! It is raw and gritty in portraying the Chicago mob. Best of all, its believable! From the dynamics of the media to the subtle spiritual slipping away of a pastor, you are left wanting more of the story! I can't wait for the sequel!
CarliChicago areaAge: Over 65Gender: female4 Stars Out Of 5Hope Lee Strobel writes more fictionbooksNovember 25, 2011CarliChicago areaAge: Over 65Gender: femaleQuality: 4Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5For his very first fiction book, this is very good. Easy to see how his journalism background plus the fact he lived in the Chicago area enabled him to put this intriguing story together. We purchased two copies, one for us and one for a family member, who lives out of state, but went to Northwestern Univ. and still loves to come back to Chicago when possible. I read it in 3 days, as it was hard to put down, even though for a gramma I have a fairly busy schedule!
