SARAH ANNE SUMPOLEC is a graduate of the University of Mary Washington and holds both a Bachelor's degree in psychology and elementary teaching certification. Her background in psychology allowed her to work both in an acute care inpatient setting and a long-term residential treatment center, both of which helped to provide her much insight and compassion towards those struggling to cope with a life that is not always kind or fair. She continually researches and speaks on the hot topics facing teens today.
