Aid parents in teaching children thankfulness
Thank You, God, for Blessing Me is a childrenâÂÂs e-book for children two to six years old. ItâÂÂs about a plump caterpillar called Little Hermie praying to God. He enumerates the blessings he is thankful to God for. This story is to inspire little children to also look around, smile and bow their heads in prayers of thanksgiving.
thank you, God, for blessing me by Max Lucado
One Christian value I want to instill in my children is thankfulness. I read this with my 5-year-old aloud and asked her to copy Little Hermie and say his prayer of thanks with me. She was not impressed with the e-book, however. I think she would prefer a physical book. Or since I opened this book on the iPad, I guess sheâÂÂs used to interactive storybook apps. The format of the e-book is not very orderly because thereâÂÂs a blank last page and a stanza was cut to the next page. I personally find the illustrations adorable. The prayer Little Hermie said could be a format to follow when I would say a thanksgiving prayer with my children, changing the list to those applicable to them. To help children learn to be thankful and prayerful is the message of this book which I would recommend parents to add to their library.

"Thank You God, For Blessing Me": A BookSneeze Rev
This book looked too adorable to not request a copy of it! Unfortunately, it was only available in an e-book format instead of in print. I love my technology, but I am always going to love actual books more...there's just something about them. Anyways, I digress, back to the adorably cute book "Thank You God, For Blessing Me".
The author of this one is one of my favorite writers, Max Lucado. Yes, his children's books are just as great! The main character is the cutest darn caterpillar you have ever seen, Hermie. This is one book in a series of 2 by Max Lucado, the other one is "Thank You God, For Loving Me." The book is geared towards the youngest of readers, ages 0-4. It teaches simple Christian based lessons that your baby, toddler or preschooler is sure to love.
My little man, 21 months old, loves reading this story. The only complaint I have about this book is in my iBooks, the pictures of the book are a little small. This makes it hard to keep a little ones attention when there are other things going on around them. Besides that, the fun rhyming pattern of the book and beautiful illustrations make this a must buy for the little one in your life.

Thank You, God, For Blessing Me, written by Max Lucado and illustrated by Frank Endersby, is an adorable children's book.
This minute book, in it's poetic form, flows naturally and teaches a wonderful lesson that cannot be overemphasized. It teaches the necessity to be thankful for everything we possess.
The illustrations are filled with vibrant colors and entertaining characters, characters that are sure to bring a smile. Each illustration correlates perfectly to the words, thus making it easy to carry a toddler through the story.
This cute little book is recommend for anyone who is blessed to have a toddler within their midst.

Sweet!
"Thank You, God, for Blessing Me" by Max Lucado is a poetic prayer for young children. It is a thoughtful book that uses gentle illustrations and simple poetic rhymes to get across the message of thankfulness for God's blessings. I love the little Hermie character from the "Hermie" cartoons and books. The book is a great tool for teachers to use to teach rhyming while providing a character building lesson about the basics of life that we shouldn't take for granted. The book provides chracter building for how children see themselves, how the see themselves with others, how they respect authority, and how they perceive themselves in frame of life. This book would be great for teachers or Sunday school teacher, parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and any family member hoping to provide courage and reassurance to children.
