Cute prayer book.
Thank You, God, for Loving Me: Max Lucado's Hermie & Friends
This book continues the saga of Hermie and his friends from the garden. In this book they teach little ones about God's love for them. It has really good illustrations along with rhyming text, that has already helped my toddler enjoy and memorize this book.
I like that it is only 10 pages long and that it is a board book. The only thing that was a little bit of a disappointment was that I thought it was very similar to the Thank You, God, for Loving me. I understand they are both prayer books for kids but thought they may be more different. My favorite part (and the one that got my sons attention) was "loving me while I'm scared. I like this book more than blessings just because my son understood the loving part more than the blessings as a toddler. Great quick, entertaining read for little ones.
I received this book free from the publisher in return for an honest review.

Hermie & Max Lucado do it again; another winner!
(NOTE: CBD currently lists this book for ages 3-8. It is actually for BIRTH TO 3 YEARS.)
A main character who prays: does it get any better than this? How about a main character who not only prays, but is shown holding the Bible as he settles in to bed, too? That's Hermie, the innocent, adorable caterpillar who is completely relatable for the youngest readers.
In Thank You, God, for Loving Me, little ones travel through an autumn day with Hermie as he thanks God for His care and protection, guidance and comfort. The prose is the common14-syllabe ABAB rhyme that comforts early readers through its familiarity. Endearing illustrations cap off this perfect board book from the new "Read 2 Me, Little Hermie" series, a new family favorite! We've added it to our "church bag," but it's been pulled out many times for in-between Sunday reads.
I received this book free from Thomas Nelson Publisher for the purpose of providing my honest review. I was not required to give a positive review.

A Sweet Read Aloud
My children love the stories about Hermie and his friends. The story lines and characters always keep their interest. Flo and Buzby are among their cherished books. I thought this story would be similar to those books, but written for toddlers and preschool ages. I was wrong.
The book is better! Filled with a prayer of gratitude that young children can easily understand and relate to, the words captivate young ones. The prayer covers God's love, presence, protection, and guidance. Accompanying illustrations are sweet and lovely to gaze upon.
I received Thank You, God, for Loving Me from Tommy Nelson through Booksneeze in exchange for my honest review.

A must have for all toddlers!
I was excited when my book came in the mail last week. My toddler loved getting a special prize in the mail and this was a great prize. It is a hardboard book with a padded cover and just the right size book for my 2 year old son. I loved the thought of teaching my child that God loves you no matter what. I love how it shows the child how God is with you no matter where you are or what you are feeling and how it THANKS God for loving him!
He said "awe you got me a book with a catapillar on it!" He loves the ladybug and after reading the book, he said, "God loves ME!" What else can a parent ask for! I can see after reading it a couple of times, the way the book is written it will be easy to memorize, which is an added plus! This book was provided to me for my honest opinion in a review by Thomas Nelson publishing and the booksneeze blogger review program.
