Dakota Rawlings, Texas Ranger, is accustomed to big adventure...but nothing in his work has
prepared him for the seemingly easy task of escorting Miss Darvi Wingate to the town of Stillwater and on to Aurora.
Quick-witted, game for anything, and just as passionate about her newfound faith as Dakota
is about his, Darvi seems to find trouble under every rock. When she becomes a pawn in one of the biggest rackets in town,
she wonders if even a Texas Ranger can get her out of this one. Out here in the West, the stakes are high-for money,
for power, and for love...under a Texas sky.

Lisa Kramer5 Stars Out Of 5April 11, 2009Lisa KramerEven though Dakota is hurt when the book first starts out, it gets better as the book progresses. I don't like it when Seth becomes smitten with Darvi, but I love Darvi and Dakota's midnight escape. It amazes me that the window in Darvi's room isn't nailed shut. But Dakota is very gentle in getting her away, and my favorite part of the book is the trial where "Mr. Banker" goes to jail and has to stay there for a very long time.
Rebecca Wilkerson4 Stars Out Of 5January 5, 2009Rebecca WilkersonI read the Yellow Rose Trilogy in a week, the characters were great, book 2 with Dakota and Darvi were my favorite (he was my favorite brother of the 3) it's a funny, entertaining love story. I'll be sure to read the series again.
