Product Description

Muslims are notoriously difficult to reach with the Gospel, but nothing is impossible to God. A Muslim's repentance and faith often endanger the new believer's livelihood, social status, family status, and even his life. These collected stories show how becoming a Christian impacts the lives of those making that decision, but how the glory of God still shines through these lives. In America, becoming a Christian means choosing the religion of the majority. When becoming a Christian means denying family or defying culture (and sometimes the law), the stories of those making that decision sometimes mirror the supernatural aspect of conversion.

Publisher's Description

This book, a compilation of testimonies from former Muslims, is definitely worth reading. First, it allows the reader to look into the hearts of sincere people seeking the truth. Second, it reveals how God moves on hearts who truly desire to know Him. Third, it reveals how people were set free from bondage and deception. Fourth, it shows how people are willing to take a bold stand in the face of great adversity when truth is known. Each testimony is different; yet, each testimony leads to the truth and revelation of Jesus Christ. Allow these courageous testimonies to minister the love of Jesus Christ in your life.

Author/Artist Review

Author: Michael H. Imhof
Submitted: April 09, 2007

Tell us a little about yourself.  I am a retired U.S. Navy SEAL Commander, possessing a Naval Special Warfare designator and having served throughout the world in numerous positions. Assignments include Platoon Commander, Training Officer, Operations Officer, Staff Officer, Executive Officer and Commanding Officer. I've also been an instructor at the U.S. Naval Academy. My awards include Defense Meritorious Service Medal; Meritorious Service Medal with two Gold Stars in lieu of second and third awards; Joint Service Commendation Medal; Navy Commendation Medal with Gold Star in lieu of second award; United Nations Medal; and other service awards. I've also worked in Afghanistan in support of the Department of State after my military career.

What was your motivation behind this project?  I believe God placed this on my heart to do. I’ve worked with many Muslims and desire them to know the truth. I want to help people who have been led astray. Why? It’s because souls matter to God, and it’s in one’s best interest to find the truth of Jesus Christ in this life vice later in the next. You see, Heaven is real, and so is Hell. One will spend eternity in one of these places. Jesus died on the cross so we could have eternal life in Heaven. I want people to know this and make decisions for Him, and to receive Jesus into their hearts as Lord and Savior.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  My desire is to exalt Jesus Christ in this effort. The most important relationship we have in this life is with Him; thus, I want Jesus exalted in the lives of others. Lives of people improve as people walk in truth and wisdom. Wisdom is basically taking the Word of God and being a doer of the Word. Jesus embodies the Word. He is the Word. As people develop in the Word and allow Jesus Christ to be exalted in their lives then their lives will show fruits of improvement and increase in quality of living. Jesus only wants the best for us and as people turn to Him then they clearly will be walking in the right direction for their lives.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  Please modify some of my author/artist input as follows: Personally, I've been influenced by many great men of God. One quality of their lives seems to be consistently prominent. They were, if I could use Paul as an example, totally committed to the Word of God and promotion of His kingdom in their lives. They had their priorities in line. This life is passing and what we can do for God’s kingdom will have everlasting consequences. The world is passing away. There are no u-haul trailers behind hearses. We need to be about our Father's business.

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  Yes, live for Jesus Christ. Nothing this world has to offer is worth that trade. Now is the time, while we have breath, to exalt Jesus Christ in our lives so others may also benefit.
