All our products are made from non-pthalate PVC which is the new standard from the government. Safe. I have six children myself and I have no hesitation to allow my children to play with our toys. My daughter really enjoys this nativity set and plays with it all the time. At 13 months she was saying "king" "Jesus" "angel" "horse" and giving Baby Jesus a kiss as she identified the pieces. I bought it after she showed such an interest in my porcelain set and am thrilled that she is learning from it. I was a little disappointed when it wasn't packaged as the picture shows because the star was broken off of the manger when it arrived. Not a big problem and super glue solved the issue. After looking at all of the online views, I expected the colors to be more vibrant. They were more subdued and neutral in shade, looking a littel blah. However, they are easy to clean, a good size for a toddler, and the figurines are sturdy - they've been teethed on and came out looking new. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase and very satisfied with Christian Book for the great communication and speek of delivery.

We bought this for our daughters who are 2 and 9 months old, they LOVE it! The figures are adorable and they play with it all day.

I already had a nativity set resembling this one but not as complete. My grand-kids just love to play with it. I'm very happy I bought it and probably will bye others to give as a gift. Nice way to tell the story of Jesus, of the real meaning of Christmas and in a way they will remember all their life. I only wish you would have a special price when we bye several kits you have of different stories of the bible...Definitely a 5 stars!

Love it! Love it! Love it! Would HIGHLY recommend to ALL!! Durable, yet looks like our porcelain set. Not heavy, but more solid and sturdy than the impression I received from the on-line pictures. Easy for little hands to hold. Fun to tell stories about and play with. Truly, EVERY FAMILY SHOULD HAVE THIS!!

Great quality for the price. My 3 yr old granddaughter wanted a "barn with christmas animals and baby Jesus" for a christmas gift to her Mom and Dad. I looked everywhere for the perfect gift and she would say "no". I took a chance and ordered this, it worked out perfect.
