This introductory textbook has several distinctive features: a strong emphasis on the scriptural basis for each doctrine; clear writing, with technical terms kept to a minimum; and a contemporary approach.

If you are looking for a book that will explain doctrine without being wordy, this is the book. I recommend it to anyone who desires to go deeper into understanding what the church believes.

From what I see, its a pretty good pick up! Seems pretty decent, though I haven't read too much of it.

This is my first "Systematic Theology" book that I have read. I recommend it to everyone. After 30 years as a believer it is a refresher course of so much that I have learned already and also things that I have not considered before. It will be a major reference source in my library for many years to come.

Great textbook that helps uncover viewpoints on different topics relating to the Bible. Great resource to have on hand when studying the Bible and wanting to get input from another source on what different groups believe on a certain topic. Very thorough on each topic.

I am absolutely thrilled with this Systematic Theology by Mr. Grudem. This is one I can easily get into and look forward to reading. It is not dry and difficult reading. Also is the fact that the author does not try forcing his opinions on his readers which I am very thankful for. This volume is very alive with exciting infos. Highly recommend this to laypersons as well as scholars.

The commentators were varied in their backgrounds which made it a "friendly tone" and a balanced approach to many difficult
doctrines.
It was helpful!
Thanks

I strongly recommend this for ALL Christians. I own a number of systematic Theology's, and this work is the most complete, sound, solid, and easy to read and great layout. This book is an eye opener and will make you thank! And I recommend, as Wayne Grudem recommends, that you use multiple systematic theology's and resources during your study.
