The Supernatural Power of Forgiveness: Discover How to Escape Your Prison of Pain and Unlock a Life of Freedom
Does't give hope to hope, only how to move on ...
I was in almost similar situation and was looking for hope how to wait on The Lord until victory but this book didn't give hope. It instead gave tools on how to accept things and move on. For me as a Christian it is fundamental to not accept the enemy's stealing and destroying but to stand firm until I get victory. We give up so easily. This book did not go to the root problem of why his wife did what she did, the fact that it was a spiritual warfare and by perseverance in prayer she could have been released and the marriage would have been saved. I became so sad that it ended like it did. Seems like we don't trust the Lord to bring us out of the pit and we don't stand in the gap for our spouses. Instead we move on and remarry.
I don't recommend this book to people going through similar situation because this tells them to move on instead to give them hope to stand firm and wait for the Lord's deliverance.

A must read for all who are emotionally wounded
The Supernatural Power of Forgiveness truly unlocks the stairway to inner healing. A transparent riveting account of experiencing pain that only forgiveness can begin to heal. Forgiveness is paramount to any healing. Unforgiveness hinders healing and your ability to receive anything from God. You see, when we do not forgive, we shut off the flow of GodâÂÂs grace from our lives. As a result, spiritual, emotional, and possibly even physical diseases are given permission to operate in us. Now listen to this: Unforgiveness hinders physical, emotional, and inner healing from GodâÂÂs love and Divine Mercy.
Kris and Jason Vallotton shows how you can be released from your pain buried deep into your inner soul. Many stories included in the pages of this book are from people who are suffering or have suffered from an orphan heart condition. Forgiveness begins the process of healing that condition.
Kris told Elijah, âÂÂOf course I love your mother. IâÂÂm the only father sheâÂÂs ever had. Later I was brought to tears when Heather ran into KrisâÂÂs arms and wailed, âÂÂPleaseâ¦oh please forgive me!â This struck me as symbolically running to Father God begging for His forgiveness and receiving it.
I highly recommend this book for all emotionally wounded people to begin their journey to wholeness and healing.
