Robin Gunn never has disappointed me yet! This is a great story about relationships, forgiveness, understanding and genuine love. The characters were so real, they could easily have been my own neighbors, and I felt invested in their relationships, their trials and their victories. There were times I laughed out loud, and times I had to cry. A very REAL story - believable, entertaining and a wonderful end that made all things good!
I highly recommend this book, I think even mature teens would enjoy this as well.
Kirsty5 Stars Out Of 5December 7, 2008KirstyReally great read. I like that Robin focused two of her Glenbrook books on two characters from the Christy Miller Series, and tells how they find love. I think that it is so cool that after everything that Alissa went through; her father dying, her mother being an alcaholic, and then getting pregnent and having the father die, and then having to give it up for adoption, that Alissa finds and marry's someone like Brad, who will always love and treasure her. Great job, Robin!!
Stephanie M.5 Stars Out Of 5June 30, 2007Stephanie M.I really enjoyed this book -- it's a fun, heartwarming, easy read for anyone looking for a modern romance that won't compromise your Christian values (like the rest of Robin's books). I haven't read the previous books in the Glenbrooke series, but I never felt lost or confused (although now that I'm hooked, I'm going to!). The characters are endearing, the places are charming, and the story line is light-hearted. I rank it 4.5/5 because it's not really ground-breaking original, but it's entertaining and fun nonetheless. It's a perfect read at the end of a stressful, hectic day. You'll enjoy it!

Joanne4 Stars Out Of 5May 27, 2005JoanneI enjoyed Sunsets, and as I've stated in another review, anyone who has read the Christy Miller series and enjoyed those are going to love Glenbrooke no matter what. And I do. But I have to admit that this wasn't my favorite Glenbrooke novel. I didn't like Brad at all, to tell the truth, and I thought the romance at the end just felt kind of forced. But even so, I'm very glad I read it, and I'm sure you'll be too.
