My 9 year old son is an avid reader of mysteries and he really liked these books. It's nice to find kid mysteries with a Christian viewpoint.

My 7 year old grandson is really enjoying this series. It is our bedtime reading when we have sleep-overs, and he tries to anticipate what is coming in the next chapter. He is beginning to read them by himself. We have purchased the next 6.

I loved this series as a child, even though I am a girl. But I was reading them to my daughter and my opinion changed. They are written in a time where there was a lot of bigotry, and the spiritual lessons the boys learn involve a lot of legalism, trying to be good enough to earn God's favor, rather than grace which I want so much for my children to grasp. I also had forgotten how very long-winded the author was.

My grandson and I just started reading them. They seem interesting and attention getting. It is hard to keep my grandson still for very long. However, we take turns reading the pages and talking about it. We are reading every night a chapter or more. I think the christian influence will absorb in his thinking and remain there. It is so hard to find good books for this age group. Thank you for offering this series of books. Wishing you the best in the New Year. God Bless

This series of books is fantastic! We just started reading the first one out loud and the whole family has enjoyed it. Everyone who especially has a son should read these books.

Some short portions fail to hold the attention of my 10 year old grandson, but he does enjoy them...good life lessons throughout!
