Sometimes the more frighteningly complex our culture gets, the more we need the profoundly simple. On every page I found the elemental in the elementary, the primal in the primary----something to lighten my step, brighten my face, heighten my vision, and enlighten my path. By the end of book, I didn’t want just to make a difference in the world; I wanted to make a different world.
~Leonard Sweet, best-selling author, professor, and theologian
Bruce and Stan have done it again! God is in the Small Stuff for Changing Times will challenge you, inspire you, and equip you to live faithfully in our upside-down world. This is a wonderful addition to their tremendously successful series. It is perfect for personal devotions or for a gift.
~Sean McDowell, educator, speaker, and co-author of The GodQuest

Even with all the stress of the world (wars, economic difficulties, political problems, and natural disasters), we know we can rely on God. He is here with us. No matter how big or small our problems are God will help us to get through them.
The book is based on the book of James in the Bible. During the first century people were facing some of the same problems we do today such as economic difficulties, famine, problems with powerful people, and the feeling that God wasn't noticing them. Some of the advice James gives us is: appreciate your trials, ask for wisdom, help others, remain loving, trust God for all things, remain faithful to God, and learn to pray with power.
At the end of each chapter there are helpful comments for the changing times and a Bible verse taken mostly from the New International Version.
