Worth it not to have to make your own so the child doesn't see all the previous work to "copy" from.

If your trying to save money, you can use a notebook in place of this product. This book does have encouraging words at the bottom of each page for your student.

I don't find the response to be a necessity, but it came with my package. The motivational quotes are nice.

This is nice to have but not neccessary. One of my kids uses notebook paper, the other uses this answer book. Both are fine.
