I started this series a LONG time ago, like about three years ago. But as my TBR pile grew it never seemed to make it to the top, I finally 'picked' it. After reading a few pages I was right back into the story of the Andersonville Four, as I think of them. The book has a lot of action along with the direction Vince's life and continues the story of how four prisoners become brothers. I really enjoyed this book as well as the series, Mary always does a fantastic job of writing. I would recommend that you read this series starting with the first book and yes, I highly recommend this book/series.

This is the 3rd book in the Trouble in Texas series. I did not read book 1 or 2 and found this book seems to start where book 2 left off. It is a story about Tina and Vince taking place in the western days. I had a hard time reading this book as it seemed slow to me, maybe it was because I hadn't read book 1or 2 and did not feel for the characters yet. Tina has her problems and a big personality as Vince has a dysfunctional family issues also. I found the drama and the western setting not my type of book.

I could recommend this to those that like westerns and reading series in the correct order. I think if you start at book 1 you will be more interested in each book. I found this book good, but not as much keeping my attention.

This was the third book in the Trouble in Texas series. I loved the whole series. Mary Connealy combines romance, adventure and just the right amount of humor. This was a great book with great characters and I would recommend it.

Mary is again one of my many favorite authors. It was funny at times and where in the world does she come up with these stories?

The third book in the Trouble In Texas series by Mary Connealy is everything you would expect from that author - another hilarious western with a sweet romance and some suspense thrown in too. I love that Ms Connealy's books are clean. They do not even come close to crossing the line and I appreciate that. They are also funny. The way she words things makes me laugh out loud. :)

I would recommend reading the first two books in the series, because this story jumps right in where the last one leaves off, and all the same characters are involved so you might find yourself somewhat lost if you start off here. I liked Tina when she arrived on the scene as Jonas' younger sister from back East. Vince has been around since the beginning of book one and we knew his story was coming next. It did a decent job of wrapping up the series and the few loose ends in the storyline.

I did have a couple problems with this one though. While it seemed like the person telling the story talked rapidly, the nothing really seemed to progress very quickly. By two thirds in this was starting to be mildly annoying. And at times things went beyond quirky to downright silly, like the story was written for a much younger audience. In general though, it's a cheery, light summer read and if you liked the first two books in the series this one is worth a read too.
