Do you feel stuck?
So many of us live stuck. Stuck in trying to seem perfect. Stuck in sadness. Stuck feeling numb. Stuck pursuing more stuff to make us happy. Stuck in something we can't even name. These stuck places often go unattended inside of us and they are shaping our lives more than we would like to think. We've been trying to fix this feeling with everything but...
God. He has a plan for these spaces inside of us, the places we feel broken, but we have to go to Him. Stuck is a journey to take an honest look at the fight going on inside, leading us to the God who has a plan to restore it, to restore us.
The eight lessons in this study guide are simple and interactive, offering projects, stories, and Bible study to dig into Scripture, to deeply engage the mind and heart. Because as we realize that our stuck places are the very places that make us ache for God, we find Him waiting there for us with hope and freedom.

Great study for group/individual use.
Thursday Girls4 Stars Out Of 5Works for meJanuary 27, 2015Thursday GirlsI am leading a small group and we are using the video, discussion cards and the e-book. My trouble with the e-book is the layout. It assumes you can write in the space which you cannot do. Before I purchased this I tried to figure out if there was a book for the participants and it wasn't until I opened the Leader's guide that I even found one listed. We are enjoying the study but I would go for the hard copy next time.

If you are she has good advice about how to get unstuck. None of us want to be stuck, but God's words will bring you out of that place. You just need to want to move on.

jlsche00Gender: female2 Stars Out Of 5Not for the linear thinkerJuly 16, 2013jlsche00Gender: femaleQuality: 2Value: 4Meets Expectations: 2I love the concept of this book, but as a linear thinker, reading it has been a huge struggle for me almost every day in the two chapters I have completed so far. That's not due to the ideas, as much as it is due to the writing style. Jennie is clearly not an ISTJ! She uses imprecise/arguably incorrect language (for example, using the term "rights," instead of "silly perceived entitlements," which is what she really means when she's describing things like "the 'right' to a fast-moving grocery line," and then saying all "rights" must be surrendered). Because of this kind of ambiguity, I have had to look up the Bible verses she cites to try to figure out exactly what she means, and in doing so have discovered numerous things that bother me. She makes some logical leaps in some of her Biblical interpretations, saying that Luke 6:28-30 means we should let all attacks/injustices "wash over us without a fight," when in context of Luke 6:27-36 (the full discussion), what Jesus is talking about is loving your enemies and responding to them in loving ways -- not necessarily being passive in the face of every single attack. Her use of Galatians 2:20 in chapter 2 (Mad) is also out of context. She uses it to support the idea of surrendering our "rights," but what that full passage is actually talking about is justification by faith vs. justification by observance of the law. Again, I've only made it through two chapters -- perhaps I can ignore this kind of thing to make it through the entire study, but as an extremely linear/logically minded reader, I'm not sure whether I can or if I should...
