A great read. The main character Joan, is inspiring in her search for more of God & to break free from the 'norm of others' and from the restrictions that she has placed on/within herself. I enjoyed how the book touches on how loving God is & how much He thinks of us with a simple illustration involving ice cream! If you read this book & haven't had an 'ice cream encounter' with a God who loves and cares so much for us all; I pray that you d0!!

Good book overall. Did not like abrupt ending, felt the book needed to bring more closure.

"Stuck in the middle" is overall a very good book. It features some funny moments, some more emotional and touching, and also just enough romance to make it an enjoyable book to read. I even liked the ebook version, it was easy to read and easy to bring along everywhere.

I have to add that I really liked the way the author made Joan realize that there was more to Christianity than going to church on Sunday, as well as the following process of her transformation.

I might read the rest of the series to see what happens with Allie and Tori, Joan's two sisters.
