This leader's guide accompanies "Struggle to Be Strong" by Al Desetta, Sybil Wolin, and Keith Hefner. This program is designed to give adults the knowledge and skills they need to help teens confront their own problems and move forward. Thirty sessions link the stories with seven traits all teens need: insight, independence, relationships, initiative, creativity, humor, and morality. Leaders may teach all 30 stories and sessions as a complete course in resilience, or choose only those that are most relevant or appropriate for your group.
