Located in: Terre Haute, Indiana Submitted: September 05, 2007 Tell us a little about yourself. I'm a pastor of a local church and former Associate Publisher at Moody Publishers in Chicago. I have the sweetest family on the planet and am so humbled to be in ministry serving alongside the people of the First Baptist Church of North Terre Haute. What was your motivation behind this project? Purely relational. I was serving as my co-authors editor at the time we envisioned this project. He and I have long desired to collaborate on a book project and with Charlie's huge success as a non-fiction, middle east expert author, we believe we would weave an interesting and spiritually encouraging story. What do you hope folks will gain from this project? Some light and interesting reading, but more than that some encouragement---to trust the sovereign, gracious hand of the Lord in uncertain and perilous times. Ultimately, we desire to see unbelievers, both Jewish, Arab and others come to embrace Jesus as Savior. How were you personally impacted by working on this project? The Lord taught me many things about myself, but mostly I was blessed and humbled to partner with Charlie Dyer, a genuine servant of the Lord and great biblical scholar and writer. Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: We have two more books in the series scheduled. And the story gets more interesting as we go.
