I chose to read this book simply because I am in my 20s and I have had my fair share of drama.

I only wish I had had a copy of this book during my early 20s, when more of this was relevant to me.

Sarah does an AMAZING job walking the readers through the battles they will face in their 20s with chapters such as these:

    Career

    Self Image

    Body Image

    Love/Dating

    Friends and Family

    Money

    Stepping Out on Your Own

    Making a Difference

    Spiritual Maturity

Being a stay at home mom, whose been out of the dating world for over 10 years I found it hard to relate to some of the chapters.

Other's hit home though and gave me new perspective.

Sarah's vlogs are the perfect end to each chapter and make her relevant and entertaining.

I love how she blends modern references with Bible backing to educate the readers and help them see how God is everywhere.

My other favorite aspect was that each chapter has multiple journal entries that the reader is encouraged to participate in.

The journal entries are a great way to take a moment and reflect on where you are at in your life, how you view situations, and what you can do to be more Christ centered in all your decisions.

Although, I didn't feel as though I benefitted 100% it's a book I would DEFINITELY give to a college graduate.

Someone who is new to their 20s, new to the career world, new to dating and managing their own financial decisions.

If you are in your early 20s or if you know someone getting ready to graduate college, this is the book for you/them.

The 20's are a stressful time, no doubt about it. From graduating college and finding a career, moving out to live on your own, developing new relationships, starting a family, discovering who you are and trying to figure out how to pay off debt it is a trying time. So many things are happening through your twenties, there is a lot of stress and questions and more to handle than you could have imagined. Sarah Francis Martin tackles the issues that cause the most stress while in our twenties and continually reminds us to bring them to the feet of the King in her new book Stress Point.

Stress Point is an easy-to-read-interactive devotional for the up and coming generation full of case studies from various women as well as topics to journal that will allow you to reflect and remind you to bring it all to God.

I liked that this devotional also printed the scripture within the chapters, so that if you didn't have a Bible on hand you could see the passages being referenced. I think that this devotional would be great for those in their early twenties that are just beginning to tackle some of these issues. It would be a great book to use as group study.

I received this complimentary from Thomas Nelson through the Booksneeze program in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

I highly recommend Stress Point: Thriving Through Your Twenties in a Decade of Drama for twenty-somethings and women involved in mentoring and mothering the next generation. It would make a great small group read and discussion time. I could also envision it laying the backdrop for a series of events at a church or home, dedicated completely to twenty-somethings.

Sarah wrote the book towards women in their twenties. The book includes ten primary chapters. Two of those focused on one topic. Each of those chapters offers a different stress point in a young woman's life. Sarah refers about Jesus throughout the book.

The purpose of bringing in Jesus is to allow for a better interaction and relationship with him. I found eight words in the introduction that stood out (capitalization my doing): Godly success, Godly purpose, and Godly well-being.

Sarah has allowed space in each chapter for journaling exercises. The journaling exercises allow you to really get into and relate to the book. I found that by the end of the book I had written 15 typed pages worth and more than 6,038 words. That is something I have never done for a book.

I wish to share a personal experience that I have had with this book. Towards one of the chapters at the end of the book, I had an experience. Jesus Christ himself appeared to me. While neither of us said anything, it caused me to cry and to break into prayer.

I was not sure what to expect when I started the book. As I grew into it, I found myself connecting with it on a personal level. The book provided a means for me to growth into my faith. The areas of faith that I have grown into were previously areas that I was spiritual weak.

I would recommend this to every young woman in her twenties. I promise you that you would not be disappointed with it.

This book was perfect for me. As a twenty-something, every single stress point was relevant (and there was a wide range).

I loved how the book offered not only personal advice, but Bible-based, solid suggestions to overcome these stress points. The journal entries' space and questions allow readers to apply what they learned, and encourages spending personal time with God. It would be great as a personal read or for a young women's Bible study.

I recommend this book for any woman in her twenties; stress points in my life were addressed, and I found comfort—if not from the book, from the time with God that the book encouraged.
