Good plot, doesn't keep repeating parts of the story as if you couldn't remember from one chapter to the next. Then didn't tell you if the cont. to date or got married. Found out in the next book. I think it should have told in the first book and then just carried them over into the next like it did. It was listed under Amish but it had very little to do the the Amish only slightly could have included them more especially in the second book. Haven't read the third book yet. Sounds good though.

Excellent
I liked this book so much I purchased and read the whole series. Now I am looking forward to the next one. I wanted this series to continue.

Just ok.
This is a pretty good book, and I liked the mystery, but it was a little odd in some places. Also, I was surprised at some of the things they said about the Amish people and customs. At times, what was said was completely different from what I had read about the Amish in other books. (So I donâÂÂt know if this book is factual, or not considering the different information.) Although this was a romance, it wasnâÂÂt very romantic. At times, I wasnâÂÂt even sure if the couple would end up together, honestly. It could have gone either way, and I wouldnâÂÂt have been surprised. ThatâÂÂs all IâÂÂm going to say, as I donâÂÂt want to rag on the book. It wasnâÂÂt terrible or anything, I just didnâÂÂt love it. I wouldnâÂÂt recommend this to everyone, but IâÂÂm sure some people will enjoy it. It just wasnâÂÂt my type of read.

Entertaining and Informative
This book has an intriguing storyline from the start; adventure would also describe it. Pleasant Amish living in current times is described but doesn't dominate. Gayle Roper is a very talented author with an impressive vocabulary. I had to look up a few words in the dictionary!
