great bargain This is a good selection of chapters from the Bible to get the big picture of the whole story. It is especially great for people who are just learning the story - true and accessible. I'll always hold that reading the whole Bible is better, but this is a great start. At the CBD electronic reader price, there is no excuse to not get into this one! July 27, 2012

As a story this book met my expectations. I would recommend The Story as a different kind of Bible study tool. It could NOT be used for in-depth Bible study, but that was not it's purpose. It read well as a flowing, interesting story...which is what I am assuming it's publisher's meant it to do...and as that "tool" it was exceptional! June 6, 2012

Good work lesson's To me this book go and tells the story of the Bible so that even most uneducated people can understand it lets you know the background and historical facts of the Bible thank you to those who thought of this and written down that people like me and my church can study the 31 week's through the Bible.
