Star of Light is an excellent reminder of how we ought to show the love of Jesus to others - by our actions, not just our words. What a powerful, practical illustration of the Gospel! I loved this book and intend to read more by Patricia St. John. The item itself was shipped promptly and was in wonderful condition when it arrived. Thank you!

This is a wonderful story, filled with details of life in Morocco and the loveliness of shining the gospel light in a dark place. But it is disappointing that Patricia St. John's delightful writing has been revised at all. I prefer the original text. Nevertheless, new readers will love the story of big brother Hamid and the missionary nurse who rescues his little sister.

This book deeply affected my 8-yr old daughter this summer. She said it helped her truly understand what it means to be a Christian. Patricia St John does a fabulous job illustrating, first through fictional situations, then through the character's gentle explanations of how Christ's love can change us & save us. Put so simply & beautifully. I was impressed & humbled at the same time.
