I would recommend this to people who are working thru someone passing on "death". My husband really liked this movie. I on the other hand found it to be a good message--you can get on with your life after someone passes away BUT it was so SLOW.
I hardly ever fall asleep or nod out during a movie and i did nod out for about 15-20 minutes or so. There is a message about "keep praying-even when it dont look like anything is happening". The message was good it was just how long it took to get the message out ..was my main problem. But my husband did not have any problems with it at all and thought it was 5 star all the way. So if i could have ...i would have given it 4.5 stars.
Its a nice story but the father's conversion happens in a vacuum of gospel truth. It seems Christian film makers are either afraid to put forth a clear gospel presentation for fear of being called "preachy" or they are just nominal Christians making a "spiritual" film and they don't really know the difference. I don't know which one this movie is. At least the production does present the idea that when you become a Christian you are "all in" and your faith affects your life in a broad way.
