Spiritual warfare is real, and it is all around us. As Christians, we have been equipped with the only weapon that can defeat our enemy: the Word of God. We must study Scripture to learn as much as we can about our enemy, the devil, and be diligent to guard our hearts, minds and tongues against his attempts to keep us discouraged and defeated.

Tell us a little about yourself. I like to garden, read, travel and shop. Not necessarily in that order.
What was your motivation behind this project? Spiritual Warfare was a series of lessons I wrote to teach in a high school Bible class in a Christian school. I taught Spiritual Warfare three times in the four years I taught and the students enjoyed it. The principal of the school kept telling me I needed to put the lessons I taught in book form. It's been seven years since I first taught it and I can hardly believe it is now in book form!
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? My heart's desire is that the study Spiritual Warfare will encourage those that read it to dig deeper in the Bible as there is still so much more on this subject.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? I learned how wonderful it is to completely rely on the Holy Spirit's guidance. There is nothing like His presence and guidance in your life.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? There has been three pastors in my life that have 'preached the Word' and 'lived the Word' that influenced me. My Louisiana pastor: Rev. James Waltrip, My Dallas pastor: Rev. Lonnie Mullen, and my current pastor: Rev. Allen Gregory who pastors in Rowlett, Texas.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: One thing I've learned is: when I pray to let go and trust God to answer how and when he wants to. He is always right and timely.
