"Spiritual Brokenness" is a clarion call to believers to heed the words of Jesus by embracing the practice of dying to self as the key to spiritual fruitfulness. Readers of this book will come to understand that although salvation is instant, achieving Christ-likeness requires a process of dying to the dictates of the flesh.
Those saints who practice this sanctification process in their lives can become world changers. The author asserts that brokenness is a necessary part of becoming salt and light in the world, and to support his point, he provides examples taken from the lives of Bible characters and other saints who made a difference in their generation.
Rev. Tunde Bolanta is the General Overseer of Restoration Ministries. He is also the founder of Mercy Home orphanage, Women and Youth Empowerment Centre, Mercy Home Clinic and Maternity Centre for community health care. In churches many people have been hurt because we try to justify ourselves. Tunde Bolanta goes through the Bible taking one example after the other, showing how godly men and women put their trust in God in trouble, in misunderstanding, through difficult circumstances, and rewards turned up as a result of obedience. Jesus reached his destiny because he had one aim and one alone: to please his Father.
If you read this book with an open heart, you will be challenged to put this message into practise in your daily life: to please your heavenly father.
Many questions about handling opposition, resistance, criticism are answered here by the example of Jesus.
