Includes an earthworm, a crayfish, a perch, and a grass frog preserved in an odorless and nontoxic form and vacuum-packed moist in a plastic bag. Once the bag is opened, the specimens can be stored safely and indefinitely in sealed plastic bags without additional preservative. This can be used to replace the specimens that come with the sold-separately Dissection Kit. Size of specimens may vary.

packaging It is wonderful to have a place to purchase these kits at a reasonable price. However, it would be nice if they were individually packaged because they do not do four dissections in one day. I noticed some students had individually bagged specimens, but we did not. Also, some had trays, we did not. Even so, it's a great buy. (the nickname prompt is quite aggravating) March 27, 2012

This product is perfect!!! My 9 year old grandaughter is thrilled with this product. She is extremely interested in science especially biology. All she wanted for her birthday was a frog to dissect. The added specimens were perfect for her. Thank you very much!! March 20, 2012

Perfect specimens! This was perfect for our biology class. I however, assumed the tray was part of it, which was seen in photo. It is not. It is exactly as described, four animals in plastic. This is very affordable however and worth it. I will be getting this again for my next biology class. February 21, 2012
