I was looking for something reasonably priced all three of my boys could do. They are grades 4th-7th and each enjoy watching the videos. They don't mind the chanting to practice the word groups.

I allowed them to each work at their own pace on this so each boy is in a different place. I think the grammar and explanation of usage is really good, but without someone to practice speaking in Spanish to I am not sure how well it is helping them to really speak in Spanish. Certainly they will be able to better understand Spanish they encounter.

For the price I'd say it is a good deal.

I also purchased each child his own workbook.

My recommendation is to find someone they can practice having some Spanish conversation with to really drill in what they learn here.

This is a great program for really teaching the language to younger students. It explains the grammar and teaches it from the beginning so students can begin making sentences early on. The teaching is clear, although perhaps too simplistic for a mature student. The chanting may be uncomfortable at first, but it is a great memory tool and soon your student will have hundreds of vocabulary words to use. Very much like the Latin for Children program by the same publisher.
