The Star-Spangled State Book: Have Fun Learning About All 50 States, Revised
This is an outstanding book to help your kids learn about our states and where they are located. It's colorful, easy to read, and fun. My kids are really enjoying this, and I find that when they are having fun, they are actually learning more than they realize!

I've searched high & low for a book that "clicked" for my daughter. The simple, well organized format and colorful text got her attention. The precise facts were short & sweet enough for her to remember without long angonizing hours of study. The information encouraged further exploration via library books and internet searches. The word scrambles, game & quizes provided a spiral review which resulted in an A+ final exam. Great for elementary students!

This product definately rates 5 stars. It is so detailed. I love that it has US historical maps such as a map of the 13 colonies and a map that shows the US at the time of the Civil War. This book is fun too! I highly reccommend it.

Wow! What a great resource! The Star-Spangled State Book has really grabbed the attention of my 11yr old and we are BOTH looking forward to geography lessons. I love the graphics and the short, to the point blurbs for each state and he loves those things about the book, also. It's a great fit for both of us and there are so few things on the homeschooling market that I can say that about. THANKS for the time and effort in putting this together...we LOVE it!
