The movie (actually the second half of the book) is a science-fiction thriller called 'The Terror from the Tarantula Nebula', and features the kids in roles and situations that you might never have foreseen - Derek as the space captain? Sally as the alien princess?? Serenity and Kimberly teaming up??? There's lots of fun, excitement and drama in real life as well as in 'reel' life as the friends face multiple hurdles that may affect the completion of their project.Recommended for ages 14 and up.

Serenity Stars in a Movie thats Really Out of This World
Its Life! Camera! Action! for Serenity and her pals when they set out to film their own sci-fi movie, "Terror from the Tarantula Nebula"--a high-adventure thriller complete with aliens, a mysterious princess, and one scary spider.
Ever the diva, Serenity steals the scene as she tussles with her friends and feuds with her mom. Can the gang hold it together long enough for the movie to wrap, or will they put Serenity on the first spaceship outta here?

The story line is dark and heavy even for teens. The endless glorifying of horror flicks and fear is a real put off. Invest your money elsewhere!
Charles5 Stars Out Of 5June 25, 2010CharlesThe story line was good and it had a great meaning for Believers and non. One note though: These books are for young adults who go to any kind of public schools. For home schoolers this will be an I opener. Hopefully this will give you a burden to pray for them instead of gossiping about them.
