5 Stars Out Of 5
I read on to the end instead of going to bed.

Dangerous Passage was a fascinating read. When I brought home Fatal Exchange, I took a peek ... and got stuck! I had wanted to read this book on a longish trip! Read halfway through, refreshed my mind with a couple of items from Dangerous Passage, and finished it way into the night.
I know nothing of police and detective work. These books seem to tell it like it is, correctly, and made me (sort of) wish I could be in that field of work; just to help, to make a difference; like these people did.
I don't want to spoil the story, but the way Ms. Harris crawled into the thoughts of some victims - and villains - is amazing.
The teacher, Emily, is so smart but in her personal relationship she came across as somewhat naive, though the guy was portrayed slickly-clever.
I wish the third book was already available.
A sideline to the editor(s). Too many 'ahold's and 'awhile's. And all of them should be 'a hold' or just plain 'hold' and 'a while'. 300 pages in the book ... throw out half of the expressions where they are just fillers. Should make a good difference. (: )
