'They should be in Hebrews II', a local pastor remarked referring to the subjects of this book. Hebrews II, for those not aquainted with it, is not a Jewish hockey team, but it is the Bible's Honours list. It is a catalogue of ordinary men and women, who through faith, had extraordinary experiences of God, and achieved extraordinary things for God. And just such people are Jackie and Mandy Dickey. Jackie was a Belfast lad who joined the Navy to see the world. He became a sailor. Then when he came home he joined the Ulster Defence Regiment. He became a soldier. He had by then, however, become an alcholic. As life became more difficult he became more depressed, more despairing and ultimately suicidal. With nothing to live for, Jackie had literally hit rock bottom when God stepped in, challenged him, changed him, and turned him around completely. But the settled sailor longed for a wife. God led him to Mandy who had a story to tell as well - of divine healing in her life.
