Product Description

Help children build resilience--the ability to recover from or adjust to change through bouncing back and overcoming the odds--through fun activities that will provide models and examples for them to relate to. Fun, playful activities serve the dual purpose of allowing you to enjoy the children's company and promoting their social and emotional development. Activities provide an objective, paragraph on what children will learn, social and emotional skills supported, materials needed, bullet-pointed instructions, expansion ideas, and a "do this at home" page for parents. Help promote resilience through caring practices, home and school partnerships, activities, daily routines, and playing and learning. 160 indexed pages, softcover.
