Noah has realized that he loves Elizabeth, and he cant risk losing her. But with a rough man from her past on Elizabeths trail, can Noah find her in time? Will Elizabeth stay alive long enough for him to save her?
SNOW ANGEL is Jamie Caries debut novel, but it doesnt read like one. The story starts with an intense scene and never lets up in excitement. Elizabeth is determined, if not sometimes foolish, in her quest to get gold and doesnt mind risking her life to achieve her goal. Noah is a great hero. Hes a gentle, kind man of God, but is thrown for a loop when feisty Elizabeth storms in and quickly steals his heart. Ms. Caries vivid descriptions of the Alaskan wilderness and the rugged trail to the gold fields will have you believing you are there.
SNOW ANGEL is a truly engaging story, but there are several scenes that some inspirational readers may find offensive. While Noah is a Christian and relies on the Lord, the spiritual theme found in most Christian fiction novels is less obvious in SNOW ANGEL. There are brief scenes of Elizabeths mother before her daughter was ripped from her arms in the prologue and letters from the detective she hired to find Elizabeth that run throughout the story as a subplot and add intrigue as the detective finally draws close to his prey. Elizabeth believes that nobody can ever love her, yet Noah is determined to prove that Gods love and his own defy all odds. SNOW ANGEL is the fascinating tale of a single-minded young woman who will stop at nothing to achieve her goal, even if it means giving up the only man who has ever loved her.

I'm glad I found her! This story was exciting and endearing. Set in Alaska, with a female who has lots of spunk and "baggage" - and a Godly man who helps her in her time of need. The good vs. evil in this story keeps you guessing. I loved it.

LeorahUSAAge: Under 18Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5A Lovely Story!November 23, 2011LeorahUSAAge: Under 18Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Alright so as you can see by my review summary, this I thought was a lovely story! I was really sad when I saw a few of the reviews though.
Sure I read the parts in the books that some thought were "inappropriate" and I myself wouldn't want to exactly read it to my Mom because of those parts but not because I see the book as dirty. Because it is in no way dirty and God WAS there! And, I feel I should add this, though I wouldn't feel comfortable reading this book to my Mom, I don't mind purchasing it for her. It is actually going to be one of her Christmas gifts but don't tell! It's a secret!
This book showed that there is a God who loves you. Jamie showed this and how much God cares that you know He loves you and is watching over you by, yes, Noah. God works in many different ways and to "cure" Elizabeth, he put a very special person in her life. A person to give her love and show her God's love through that love.
This is at least how I see it. And felt in and out of the book. I loved this book but will be watching who I purchase it for though. I won't be buying this book for those who I feel need to mature as they won't be able to see the love in it is FOR GOD at the moment. This fact is common for ALL books that I give off as gifts though.
Anyway, I highly recommend this book and it really was a sweet story. I loved the butterflies and I loved how Jamie Carie put God in it! I hope you will feel the same way and if you view the book as I do, I know you will! This is a top favorite now!
