Publisher's Description

Welcome to Smitten, Vermont.

With the help of four friends, it’s about to become the most romantic town in America.

The proposed closing of the lumber mill comes as unwelcome news for the citizens of Smitten. How will the town survive without its main employer? A close-knit group of women think they’ve got just the plan to save Smitten. They’ll capitalize on its name and turn it into a tourist destination for lovers—complete with sweet shops, a high-end spa, romantic music on the square, and cabins outfitted with fireplaces and hot tubs.

But is this manly town ready for an influx of romantically-minded guests?

Country music sensation Sawyer Smitten, the town’s hometown hero, wants to help by holding his own wedding there on Valentine’s Day. And little Mia’s lavender wreaths hang all over town as a reminder that faith can work miracles. Along the way, four women spearheading the town’s transformation—energetic Natalie, sophisticated Julia, graceful Shelby, and athletic Reese—get in the spirit by reviving their own love lives.

Join best-selling inspirational romance authors (and real-life BFFs) Colleen Coble, Kristin Billerbeck, Diann Hunt, and Denise Hunter for an inspiring stay at the (soon-to-be) most romantic town on the eastern seaboard.

One visit . . . and you’ll be smitten too.

Endorsements

These four authors have penned a series of interconnected sweet romance tales that will have readers longing to visit Smitten, Vt. The downside of this type of novel is that there isn’t enough time to fully develop each romance before moving on to the next, so some of the stories feel rushed and others feel incomplete. For pure escapism though, this book is ideal. - Three Stars, Romantic Times

Publisher's Weekly

Four popular evangelical Christian novelists put pens together to confect four related romance novellas set in the titular town. When the mill in Smitten, Vt., closes and the town faces an economic crisis, four women who are friends and local business owners cook up a solution: turn the town into a honeymoon destination. As each woman works her part of the economic turnaround, each also finds unexpected romance. Smitten is a fun concept, and the stories are more or less fun. Hunt uses a lot of plot mechanism that can occasionally be heard creaking, and Christian elements are most explicit in her take. Hunter manages to keep her romantic tension going almost till the end, a crafty success. Recurring elements like the baked goods from Natalie Mansfield’s coffee shop tie things together nicely. Each novelist will likely bring her fans to the group-write, so plenty of readers may be smitten by this multivoice composition. (Dec.) Copyright 2011 Reed Business Information.
