Author Bio

Bill Myers is the author of the humorously imaginative The Incredible Worlds of Wally McDoogle series, which currently numbers 25 episodes and over 1.8 million units sold. Bill's latest works include the creation of a brand new secret agent series for early readers, Secret Agent Dingledorf. He is also the creator and writer of the McGee & Me! video series. Bill is a director as well as a writer, and his films have won over forty national and international awards. He has written more than 50 books for kids, teens, and adults. Bill lives with his wife and two daughters in Southern California.

    Twelve-year-old Wally McDoogle dreams about a lot of things. Being a writer, being a superhero, writing about a superhero. He has never dreamed of going to camp, but his father signs him up, insisting it will make him a real man. Incidentally, being a real man is another thing Wallys never dreamed aboutYet Wally gets dropped off at the bus, but before he even makes it to Camp Wahkah Wahkah (or Camp Whacko as Wally calls it) he finds himself pressed against the roof of the bus by Gary the Gorilla with peanut butter and jelly dripping from his nose. Yes, its true. Wally is a dork-oid, which really isnt so bad as long as you arent the target of Gary the Gorilla and his Goons. Unfortunately, Wally is.What a funny story. Wally has a great sense of humor and I found myself laughing out loud. Here and there we are also entertained with the book Wally is writing about Mutant Man McDoogle, a superhero who is in a battle with a suspiciously familiar villain named Dr. Ghastly the Gorilla. I highly recommend this one for younger teens looking for adventure and a big smile.

    Love ALL of the Wally McDoogle books! They are a GREAT read. I enjoy them as much as my daughter. I highly recommend reading them ALL!

    My son is 11 and in the 5th grade. He loves this series. He laughs so loud when he is reading and it teaches a valuable lesson. Thanks Mr Meyers for giving children and fun & exciting series that parents can feel comfortable in buying and not have to worry about the content!

    My son is 9 years old and in the 4th grade. We got this series for him after he read 24 26 27 & 28 of this series. He loves them. I'm glad because he has to read chapter books for class and I was not to fond of the choices the school offers now a days. Parents if you have any concern about what your child is reading, I would highly recomend this series.
